Since 2012, we give young people the opportunity to deepen their educational pathways in the music sector and contribute to carry out their projects, through scholarships.
Every year we finance:
- an annual scholarship to a child with a disability for an instrumental musical course at the Athenaeum Musicale. The selection is made with the Director of the Athenaeum based on the economic condition of the family and the potential of the child, for a total amount of 200 euros
- a scholarship to two young musicians of middle school with musical address and high school music winners of the Paolo Zuccotti Competition organized by the music school Athenaeum Musicale Fiorentino, for a total amount of 300 euros
Other scholarships awarded thanks to teachers’ reports were:
- in 2014, an annual scholarship to a seventeen-year-old young man for a piano master’s degree aimed at developing his compositional skills at the Fiesole Music School, for a total amount of 500 euros
- in 2014, contribution to a young chorister and soloist of the Jubilation Gospel Choir of Livorno to produce an unreleased song so that she could participate in the 2015 Castrocaro Festival selections, for a total amount of 510 euros. Download the track of Eleonora Vecchio
- in 2015, an annual scholarship to a duo established in Florence in 2007 within the “Centro Giovani L’Isola” of the “Progetti le Piagge” Music Laboratory and composed by Samuel Rossetti for the musical and technical part and Alessandro Pisciotta for the lyrics and song composition. The aim of the course was to acquire skills in computer science, learn the mixing processes to produce original music independently, for a total amount of 350 euros
- in 2016, a scholarship to a young singer, Giulia Loprencipe, for a specialization course in Gospel vocal technique at the music school Athenaeum Musicale Fiorentino, for a total amount of 300 euros
- in 2018, assignment of four scholarships to children with disability certification for specialized individual and group courses for flute, singing, drums and keyboards at the middle school Gianni Rodari of Scandicci in Florence
- in 2019, assignment of a scholarship to Oumar Sanogo, for a keyboard in-depth course, for a total amount of 500 euros
